Dr Timothy Sutton

Dr Timothy Sutton trained at Monash University, graduating in 1975, and has been an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Northern Tasmania since 1984. In conjunction with Sydney IVF, he started an IVF program at Launceston in 1996. He has also had a special interest in laparoscopic gynaecological surgery from its inception in 1991. In 1999, he retired from active O&G practice due to a lymphoma and its complications. In the meantime, he returned to University and completed an Arts Degree with Honours in Philosophy. Dr Sutton’s special interests are in the Philosophy of Language, Ontology, and Ethics. He is currently a student at the Melbourne University School of Philosophy.
