Dr Sandra Peake

Dr Peake is the ANZICS CTG representative on the ANZIC-RC Board. She is the Acting Director of the Department of Intensive Care Medicine at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide and Senior Lecturer at the University of Adelaide. She completed her PhD at the University of Adelaide in 2000. Her thesis examined the role of combination anti-cytokine immunotherapy in an animal model of septic shock. She is currently a member of the ANZICS CTG executive, Chairman of the Scientific Panel for the Intensive Care Foundation and Vice-Chairman of the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (South Australia). She is also on the Management Committee of the CTG-endorsed Early Parenteral Nutrition and Early Goal-Directed Therapy studies.
