Access and parking information

The ANZIC-RC is located at The Alfred Centre within The Alfred Hospital's Medical Research and Education Precinct (AMREP). We are just 5km from Melbourne's CBD, within easy access to trams, trains and buses. The Alfred Centre is on the corner of Commercial and Punt Roads.

We are in the building on the lower left corner of the map. Metered parking is available on Commercial Road outside The Alfred Hospital or in The Alfred visitor's car park located under The Alfred Centre.

Public Transport Options

  • The number 72 tram from Flinders Street to Punt Road. Disembark at the corner of Commercial and Punt Roads.
  • Tram numbers 3, 5, 6, 16, 64 or 67 from Flinders Street to the corner of St Kilda and Commercial Roads. Then walk down to the corner of Commercial and Punt Roads.
  • The number 246 bus from Bundoora runs along Punt Road. Disembark at the corner of Commercial and Punt Roads.
  • Sandringham line train to Prahran station then a short walk on Greville Street to Commercial Road (corner of Punt Road).
  • Frankston line train to Toorak station. Then number 72 tram along Commercial Road and disembark at the Punt Road stop.
  • Buses 216, 219 and 220 to the corner of Commercial and Punt Roads.
